1. For a transparent balm coating, apply lipstick to clean, dry skin of the lips directly from the stick or with a brush, if necessary, blend with a fingertip using light patting movements.
2. Outline the lip contour with a pencil in the same tone or a tone darker than the lipstick, then apply lipstick to the entire surface of the lips. If necessary, lightly blot lips with a paper napkin to remove excess lipstick.
3. For denser coverage and a rich shade, apply a second layer of lipstick.
